LYRICIST VETURI TO BE HONOURED WITH A DOCTORATE BY NAGARJUNA UNIVERSITY

Acharya Nagarjuna University will present honorary doctorate to eminent Telugu lyricist Veturi Sundara Rama Murthy and two others during its 28th convocation on August 3.

A champion of Dalit literature and a social reformer Katti Padma Rao and Guntur-based Chartered Accountant Vadlamani Venkata Subrahmanya Ravi would also receive honorary doctorate for excellence in their areas of contribution to society, Vice-Chancellor V Balamohandas told reporters in Guntur on Wednesday.
