THE MUSICAL CHAIRS IN TOLLYWOOD: WHO'S IN, WHO'S OUT

* The sexy Mandira Bedi is finally not doing John Appa Rao 40 Plus, and it is reported that she has been replaced by the gorgeous Simran. For those who don't know, Krishna Bhagwan is the hero of the film.

* Suhani is out of Bapu's new film, and her place has been taken by Charmi.

* Looks like Nitin is finding it tough to get a Bollywood heroine. For Nisha Kothari seems to have opted out of the film, and Suhani has stepped into her shoes.

BAPU GIVES SUHANI THE BOOT, MAKES CHARMEE THE NEW BAPU BOMMA

Poor Suhani must be digging her head in her mother's lap and crying out loudly for having lost a golden opportunity to act in a Bapu film. She has tom-tommed to the whole world, that she would be Bapu bomma in the forthcoming film. But, only to realise that she was living in her own world, and that Bapu was biding his time waiting for the right girl. And when he found Charmee, he gave Suhani the boot. Suhani, we can only feel sorry for you. But you should realise that is how the industry works. They will lift you to the skies when they need you, and when they find the right girl, they shove you from that place. Don't be disheartened, there is some filmmaker waiting to tap your talent. And give you the right break.

Suhani is bitten by Mahesh Babu's style

Mahesh Babu has one more Tollywood babe drooling over him. Suhana, the Tooneega... Tooneega girl from Manasantha Nuvve, who has metamorphosed into a heroine now, says she loves Mahesh Babu's style (whatever that might mean) and his dialogue delivery. The Babu bomma -- she is making her debut in Bapu's film -- is surely sending feelers to the Tollywood filmmakers that she wants to act opposite Mahesh Babu, if only any one of them is listening. She has shot some stills recently for the promotion of her new film, and we must say she has some good navel to show. And any of you guys who is interesting in navel gazing, you must see the pictures. More on Suhani. The Pune girl has acted in some 40-odd films as a child artiste. Now she is 16, but has inherited the art of diplomacy is answering questions, I must say. Look at this: "I come from a conservative family. So I'll try as far as possible not to expose and do item numbers." What does 'as far as possible' mean, Suhani? If you get a chance opposite big stars like Mahesh Babu, you don't mind exposing? Stop beating about the bush and say what's in your mind, Suhani?

The 'Tooneega, tooneega....' gril is a Bapu bomma now

Who can forget the soulful lyric 'Tooneega tooneega endaaka parigedatave...ravee raavamma', sung to an amazing tune, in Manasantha Nuvve? Just the very mention of the film brings pleasant memories of the song. You must be wondering why I'm raving about it now? Don't be shocked when I tell you why. Suhani, the cute little girl in the song who was catching butterflies and running after trains, has been signed as a heroine for a Bapu film. She looks real cute, there's no doubt about it. And has the looks of a pretty good damsel. But we never knew she would grow up faster than the blue chips in the stock market to stake her claim as a Tollywood heroine. Will Bapu be able to weave his magic with her like he did for Aamani in Mr Pellam? Well, let's see how her stock fares in the Tollywood market.
