He's 138 and still going strong!!

"Kisi raees ki mehfil ka jikra kya hai Aamir, khuda ke ghar bhi na jayenge bin bulawe ke" (Let us put behind the parties of bigwigs Aamir, we don't even go to God's place without invitation), that's what Habib Miyan, who is acnowledged as the oldest man of India in the Limca Book of Records, said on his 138 birthday celebrations when people from every walk of life greeted him on his birthday.

On May 20, clad in a white kurta pyjama, Habib Miyan says, "I have requested many times to God that he should send his messengers to take me. But, Allah has been kind enough that I could go to Haj twice and could see my sixth generation." In the age when people suffer many diseases, Miyan has his teeth intact and has no sugar, blood pressure and is a meat lover.

About his habits, Chuttan Miyan, his great great grandson says, "Habib Miyan is very disciplined in his life. He wakes up on time for prayers. His breakfast is two toasts and tea, while a meal consists daal, rice, roti and sometimes on Sundays he asks us to go for meat.

Miyan has gone to Haj twice and got a warm reception and hospitality from the UAE authorities. As regarding his Haj trips, he says, "Bade hi nek log theey, doctor laga rakhe thee, achcha intezaam tha" (they were good people, they had doctors and other necessary arrangements for me).

In Jaipur where he is treated as a celebrity, every year on his birthday even daily strangers after reading stories related to him come and meet him. Everyday people come and want to meet him, take his blessings, he too does not disappoint anyone, Chuttan Miyan says.
