RARE CELESTIAL TREAT: Don't miss out, witness the line-up of planets this month!!

The night sky will present star-gazers a rare line-up of four planets -- Jupiter, Mercury, Venus and Saturn -- this month. R Subramanian, director general of the M P Birla Institute of Fundamental Research and head of the Birla Planetarium, said in Kolkata on Tuesday that Jupiter, the largest planet in the solar system, could be seen tonight at a magnitude of -2.6. "During the first week of this month, as the sun sets, Mercury, the little planet, is at the greatest elongation east, and Venus, the brightest, will appear at a magnitude of -4.5. It is also in the greatest elongation of 45.4 degree," he said. Subramanian said Saturn could be seen in Leo and the end of the month will bring a blue moon on June 30. "It means that in this calendar month, we have two full moons," he said. The M P Birla Planetarium, he said, has made arrangements for observing Jupiter on Tuesday night from 7.30 pm to 8.30 pm.
