MUMAITH KHAN REPORTEDLY DEMANDS RS 25 LAKH PER FILM, AND THE TOLLYWOOD FILMMAKERS ARE COUGHING UP!!

Mumaith Khan is going from strength to strength in the Telugu film industry. No film is complete without her song. And the Tollywood filmmakers are keen on casting her, as they consider her not only a luck mascot, they feel that like Jayamalini, Jyothilakshmi and Smitha of yesteryears, she has the looks to cast a spell on the audiences. Small wonder then that Mumaith is making the most of her demand. She has been reportedly jacking up her price for every film. And like the Hyderabad real estate prices, no one can exactly predict how much she would ask for. But, they have no choice. What she demands, she gets. Now, the current rate, we hear, is around Rs 25 lakh. What more, she is not content with doing item numbers alone, she plans to shift to character roles, and has been making it clear to the lesser known directors that she wouldn't do an item number if she doesn't get a meaty role. Preferably, the status of a second heroine. And she has been booked in a couple of films as a character artiste. Way to go Mumaith.
