Not even the mainstream heroines get so much publicity. Similarly, if she is cast as a second heroine, that is even more bigger news. Ironically, whatever she doesn't do is also becoming news. Such is the popularity of Mumaith Khan today. Recently, Mumaith Khan's family had a fracas with a manager. The news spread like wild fire that Mumaith Khan actually beat the guy to pulp. And the whole industry was agog with the tales of the item girl's arrogance. But, did Mumaith Khan actually beat up the guy? "No," says the buxom babe from Bombay. "I didn't beat anyone...It was my sister who beat up the manager."
Narrating the incident on what exactly happened on that particular day, she said, "We were shooting for a film, when another manager, who was a friend of our manager, came to the shooting spot and started abusing us allegedly over the callsheets. My sister lost her temper and beat up the manager. Soon, she was joined by my mother, and both of them beat him up black and blue." Mumaith Khan, said as an afterthought, "I was just preset there and at the most inovled in the pushing and jostling. that's it, nothing more than that."
Wah! Mumaith, wah, you were not a party to the fracas, but you took part in the incident. What logic. Kudos to your intelligence!!
